DJ's are the predominate wedding reception entertainers. Due to computers, the space requirements for a Dj has actually been
reduced. We do recommend that you discuss spacing needs with your DJ.  As a rule of thumb we allow 100 to 150 square feet.

In recent years we have been seeing more parties using an I Pod station. This is definitely a space saver.

If your having a band, you should ask them how much space they need. The band shown below had 7 pieces and required an area
12X20 or 240 square feet. Every band has different spacing needs. The amount of pieces does not determine the size of area that
is required.

In addition to a covered area, many DJ's and bands require sidewalls and a platform to protect their instruments and electronics
from weather.

DJ's may or may not have their own tables and table skirting. A DJ table without skirting is not pretty site. Make sure you discuss
all of your entertainers needs before signing a contract with them.
