My husband and I started planning and hosting parties together in the early 80's. Our first large party (Over 150
guests) had been our own wedding reception and after reception party in 1981.
Throughout the 80's and 90's we averaged 4 large events per year. Most of the parties we hosted were outdoor
events with 60 guests or more. Many of these events were catered parties including weddings, reunions and
anniversaries.
In 1996 my husband and I decided to take a new path together and start a business from scratch. We put our
skills together, his engineering, my customer service. We coupled these skills with our love of parties and created
Sunshine Tent and Party.
Over the last 25 years we have planned and hosted well over a hundred parties. Since starting Sunshine Tent
and Party in 1996 we have worked with thousands of customers, event coordinators, caterers and party planners
to put on successful events and parties.
