Most outdoor parties take place on lawn. Dance floors give a firm solid surface for dancing.
Most weddings (indoors or outdoor) include music and dancing. Building great dance floors
on lawn requires quality equipment and years of experience. Our outdoor floor systems are
designed and built by us. This has allowed us develop the finest outdoor dance floor
systems.

Many companies are using indoor dance floors systems "outdoors." Indoor systems are
basically 3/4 inch plywood with a simulated wood surface. These floors on lawn are usually
bouncie and don't give the solid feel that a true dance floor should have. Our floors are
thick,  heavy and made of real wood. Their advanced design minimizes permanent
damage to lawns.

There are many different formulas available to recommend  what size dance floor you may
need.  The reality is that there are so many variables it is virtually impossible to predict the
exact size you may need. The formula below is the one we have been using for years for are
own parties. We also have been using this same formula to help size our customers floors.
Generally, the feed back from the customers have   been positive. Take 1/2 the total guest
count and multiply by 4.

Example:   120 guests divided by  2 = 60 x 4=240 this equals a dance floor about 16 X 16 feet
or  256 square feet.

This would be medium sized dance floor for this sized event. If you have a crowd that really
likes to dance the floor may need to be much larger.
